Santa's Enchanted Forest Touted as the "The World's Largest Christmas Theme Park and Free Carnival", this family-fun forest includes over 3 million holiday lights, hundreds of themed displays, more than 100 rides and a Christmas tree that's taller than a whopping 90 feet!

Winterfest Celebration: Light up Lauderdale - Riverwalk, the downtown Fort Lauderdale center for arts, entertainment, events, shopping and nightlife, is transformed into a holiday centric parade of lights and celebrations from November 19 through January 2010. Highlights include the Get Lit Kick-off Party on November 19th, the Best in Lights Contest on December 8th and the Family Fun Zone every Saturday night during the Winterfest Celebration.
Winterfest Celebration: Boat Parade - The annual "Turn Your Boat into a Float" grand parade on Ft. Lauderdale's Intercoastal Waterway has boats draped in lights, blow up palms, plus Santa and his elves dressed in summer gear. Called "The Greatest Show on H2O", this parade is kicked off with a tailgate party at the beach and concludes with an awards ceremony. The parade takes place on December 6, 2009.
Winterfest Celebration: Christmas on Las Olas - This family-friendly event on December 1st features live entertainment, carolers, nearly 100 lighted trees and numerous displays on the famous boulevard. The kids will get a kick of sledding on the real snow that covers "Snow Mountain", and can enjoy watching holiday-themed movies on a 30 foot outdoor movie screen.
This free event benefits local charities through funds raised at various portions of the festival.

Miami is a diverse city, full of life and culture, not to mention great beaches, restaurants and site seeing. When visiting Miami be sure to walk Atlantic Avenue, you really get the vibe of the people not to mention a tan. I also recommend visiting Mangos, a fun and upbeat night club full of beautiful people.

When dining out in the South Beach area, be sure to ask for a copy of your receipt before paying. If you simply ask for the bill, most likely the server or bartender will verbally tell you a total. But what they don't tell you is that the total already includes a gratuity. You'll see the added gratuity on the physical check and then you can decide to tip more if you prefer.
If you pay with a credit card, this gratuity will not be separated as a tip on the credit card slip. It will simply be included in the total and more than likely you will tip an additional 15-20% to the server.

If you are an older couple that loves to have a beautiful night out, Bayside is a wonderful spot. It is full with little restaurants, live band. They also have a cruise boat that you can dance and enjoy the beautiful harbor that Miami has to offer.
If you are into poetry we have the one and only Literary Café and Lounge location in North Miami. There you can enjoy live poets and also a live jazz band where you can unwind and let your spirit move you.
For the shoppers the best mall in Miami is Aventura Mall with its creative boutiques and access to the movies all in one. To wine and Dine I will prefer you stop at Bahamas Breeze.
