Mother's Day is a great concept. However, how many of us actually spend that Sunday relaxing or doing something entirely for ourselves? My Mother's Day consists of me doing something for my mom, step-mother, mother-in-law, grandmothers and of course, I want to spend time with the wee one. So where exactly am I supposed to fit in "me time"?
Seems that many moms are feeling the same way about good old Mother's Day.
Maria T. Bailey, guru to all things moms and marketing, (host of Mom Talk Radio and author of "The Ultimate Mom Book" as well as top Mom Websites, Newbaby.com, BlueSuitMom.com and MomSelect.com) has teamed up with mommy-bloggers around the country to host a National Mom's Nite Out. Taking place in over 50 cities in the US, 300,000+ women will be participating in events across the county, as well as mom-organized parties and virtual celebrations on Thursday, May 7. Awesome, right?
Women on Their Way will be participating by donating Spa Wish gift certificates that will be given away virtually throughout the event. These certificates can be used in over 4,000 participating spas throughout America. We figure that it's a nice way to spend that "me time" that we're all looking for. We're really excited to be included in this celebration of moms and look forward to twittering about it with thousands of other women just like us.
Sign up today and we'll "see" you there!
