I'm in Orlando right now at the Wyndham Orlando Resort on a business trip and although it's really, really nice to be able to get some great sleep and enjoy my evenings alone, I'm totally missing the craziness of home! I totally miss the kids and being at such a family-friendly resort is not helping! The little man and moose (what we've taken to calling the little one because he finally put on some weight - though so quickly that he looks like a different kid) would just love this resort.

Not only am I close to Disney (which they're not seeing until at least age 10 - remember?) but the Wyndham here has "Florida Fun Suites" which have kid-sized tables, bunk beds and a "kid's only" TV. There are two children's pools, a playground, a super-cute, on-site Ice Cream Parlor and a game room in addition to space to just run around, being kids. It's a kid's oasis. My son could do some serious energy-burning here.

Oh - and it's a pet-friendly hotel, too. Though I'm totally not one of those bring-your-110 lb-dog-on-vacation kind of gal.

Nope; not me. I've been spending my downtime getting a massage, searching for fun finds to bring back home to the kids and catching up on my reading and sleeping.

The staff here has been beyond excellent and they really encompass the Count On Me! service culture that defines Wyndham on a global basis. Check out this video for an overview of the accommodations at the property and definitely check it out for yourself the next time that you're in Orlando. Your kids will thank you!
