I am not officially a new mom, but will be come March 2010... I know, it's so very exciting!!

DH and I were invited to a destination wedding for our very close childhood friends in June next year. While I'd like to say I'll be back to my old self within 4 months and will need a break from the little one, I'd like to know what you think... Is 4 months too soon to travel from the baby for 2-3 days? Do I pay for a sitter to travel with us and bring the little one along? Do we just not go?

As of now, my instincts are telling me to just not go but then I think of the beach and the sun and those drinks with the fruit and umbrellas...
