If you are leaving your pets at home with a Pet sitter or a friend or neighbor that is going to be checking in on your pet daily, alway notify your Vet and leave a signed note that your Veterinarian and/or Animal Emergency Clinic has authorization to treat your animal on behalf of your pet sitter. You may also want to leave your Credit Card number and date of expiration, depending on how well you know your sitter or Vet (we know them extremely well, we have 8 cats) so they have a good deposit or know any fees will be taken care of until we can get home to take care of things.

This will ease your mind and the sitters mind in case of any emergencies! In most cases, our pets are our family members also and we would almost take them with us if we could! So to ease separation anxiety, this will help in many ways!
