January 2009 Archives
Jane is taking out her crystal ball and predicting that 2009 will be the year of the traveler. Hear Jane out. Despite the economic slump, or perhaps more to the point, because of said slump, travelers of the business and leisure persuasion are going to find deals this year. Maybe not so much on domestic airfare, because the airlines have managed to cut their capacity to meet shrinking demand. But Jane expects that hotels, tour packagers, and other travel related entities may well be dropping their prices or giving travelers extra incentives in order to boost business.

'Tis the season for giving. In that vein, Jane is going to share with you some tips from Wyndham regulars that will make your 2009 journeys easier and healthier.
The tips were offered up in an online contest held by Wingate® by Wyndham. Jane checked out what some of her fellow females had to say. Said tips, together with Jane's commentary, are outlined below.
Laneeda from Normal, Illinois suggests using 800-Free-411 when you need someone's address or telephone number. The call will save you from those annoying directory assistance charges, although Jane notes you will have to listen to an advertisement or two before you get the details requested.
Jane's making a list and checking it twice. It has nothing to do with who's naughty and nice, however. Rather, said list is designed to help you, dear reader, get through your holiday travels with the greatest of ease.
