From wading into cold Copenhagen water to get a great shot of the Little Mermaid Statue to stumbling onto a mile long yard sale in the suburbs of my hometown Washington DC, I relish investigating and immersing myself in the destinations I travel to.
Yet, discovering the beauty, festivity, and mystery of a place is just one part of the journey. Sharing with others that beauty, helping them to uncover that beauty as they venture and voyage out themselves - that is when the ultimate enthusiasm of traveling is complete. I love to exchange my tips and insights with others, being a resource. I like to provide the kind of information that can't be Googled; consider it a self-made proverb, 'first experience, than share.'
I have more bad hair days than good, I constantly want to lose five more pounds, I love a good romance story, and I delight in assisting my fellow "women travelers," to inspire adventure! I am every woman and yet I love to travel alone, frequently, for pleasure. I seek my own adventure. I know how to find great flights and what seats are best on a plane. I know how to find bargains - whether those are air tickets or on the streets of Delhi.
Be it that one town over from mine or to some far flung locale halfway across the world, my passion is traveling, and I want to share that passion to help empower other women to explore our world!
