As a writer, blogger, teacher,mother, and world traveler, I am so excited to be a part of the Wyndham Worldwide Woman on Their Way program! I love opening my eyes to new vistas and sharing fun experiences with my family.
I live in the city of Chicago with my husband, Maurizio, and our two lovely children, Daniel, age 9, and Chiara, age 16 months. I am both a freelance writer and an Italian language instructor. I enjoy exploring our beautiful city, hanging out at the beach, taking long walks, and blogging - I keep a personal blog at tiramisumom.com. Among my other interests: scuba diving and swimming (I'm a Pisces, afterall!), hiking, and of course, travel! I've been to many places around the world already - from Mali, where I worked to build the first-ever schoolhouse in a small village - to the Galapagos Islands, where I wound up amidst a school of hammerhead sharks - Yikes!
