Whatever your age, Boston offers numerous things to do when it comes to Halloween. As one of the oldest cities in the United States, its rich history provides plenty of options for people to indulge in haunted legends and ghostly tales of the past and present. Halloween Town Boston,  a late October Halloween festival at the Seaport World Trade Center, has tons of fun activities for kids. Bring the kids to the Franklin Park Zoo's Halloween Celebration. It features creature encounters, creepy crafts, ghoulish games, and a trick-or-treat trail. Hay rides will also be provided for $2 per person, or $5 for three.

Go on a water adventure when you take the whole family down to the Harbor for Spirit of Boston's Festive Halloween Lunch. There are plenty of fun games, tricks and treats, and a children's costume parade to stimulate the kids while parents can relax and enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful views.
