Digital Photography Helpful Hints
Photos allow you to relive your vacation memories. Digital photography has made it easier than ever to instantly preview your pictures to ensure you have the perfect shot, as well as to store and share your memories. Here are a few tips to help you enjoy the benefits of digital photography while on vacation.
- Make sure you bring enough power. Bring lots of batteries, or if your camera has a rechargeable battery, make sure to have at least one extra battery and a charger. It's not fun to miss a great shot because your batteries run out of power.
- Bring extra memory cards or sticks to ensure you have enough space for all your pictures. Take into account the number of photos you usually take, how long you are going to be traveling and the resolution you are planning to use. A number of fun carrying cases are available and offer a great way to safely carry your extra memory cards.
- Share your photos while still on the road by uploading your pictures to a photo sharing site such as the Kodak Easy Share Gallery and e-mailing the link to people at home. If you bring your laptop, you may obtain internet access at an internet cafés or hotel. Please be sure to check with your specific resort before traveling to determine if this service is available. Remember to bring the cords needed to connect your camera to a computer.
- Keep your photos safe. Visit a local photo shop where they can save the pictures from your memory card onto a CD. You will then have a back up of your pictures if something happens.
With these tips, you can feel confident to snap away. Once you get home, you will be glad you did.
